Get Rowdy with Wellness

How to Sign Up

Start by visiting the UT Living Well platform (powered by Limeade) and create an account if you haven’t already done so. Now you’re ready to start using the platform! Download the Limeade app and sync your fitness device to make tracking your progress easy.

To register for the challenge, navigate to the Activities tab and “add” the challenge to your dashboard. Be sure to take your Limeade “Well-Being Assessment.” This will customize the program to your wellbeing needs and make the program work for you!
Once registered you can download the Living Well app by Limeade One available for iOS or Android and enter “University of Texas” or code: “UTX.”

Challenge Period

The team challenge begins on Monday, April 3, and ends Sunday, April 30. The last day to track activity is Monday, May 1.

Tracking Is Easy

Track your physical activity by manually logging steps, syncing your fitness device, or using the step conversion table to count numerous other activities (e.g., cleaning, gardening, swimming, etc.).

What Is the Team Goal?

You can participate solo or as part of a team.

  • Create or join a team of 5-7 people and track your daily progress within the challenge.
  • Each team must collectively log 1 million steps over the four-week challenge. This earns your team 100 points on the Living Well platform.
  • Depending on the number of team members, that averages out to about 6,000-10,000 steps per person daily, or 250,000 steps per team each week. No matter how many steps an individual team member takes, it all counts toward the total cumulative team steps.

How Do I Create a Team?

  • Connect with colleagues and decide who will be team captain of your 5–7-person team. Family members on your health plan (ages 18+) can also join your team!
  • The team captain will create the team to avoid duplicate teams.
  • Once the team is created, you can set your privacy to Anyone Can Join or Invitation Required.
