Getting to Know...
Please join the Office of Student Judicial Affairs in welcoming, Adriana Alicea-Rodriguez as the newest Coordinator on our team. Adriana comes to us from UTSA Housing and Residence Life where she served as a Complex Coordinator since December 2008. Her past experiences include being a Hall Director at Texas A&M in the Leadership Living learning community and the first year Aggies Living Learning Community. Prior to Texas A&M, she worked as an Assistant Residence Director at the University of Vermont and has investigation, adjudication and appeal experiences as a graduate intern in the Center for Student Ethics and Standards at the University of Vermont.
Adriana has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Marquette University and a Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. She is an active member of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) serving in numerous roles such as the Summer Leadership Institute Selection Team of the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program, National Co-Chair of the Latino/a Knowledge Community, National Undergraduate Fellow Program (NUFP) Mentor and Multicultural Undergraduate Fellow Program (NUFP) Fellow. She is a welcome asset having also served as a member of the E.P.I.C. Core Team, which is responsible for doing research and assessment of the E.P.I.C. Model and its practices. We are excited to keep her in Student Affairs and have her in our department.

The Office of Student Life is pleased to introduce their new Fiscal Manager, Vanessa Ghiden. Vanessa has a Bachelor’s Degree from Notre Dame, an MBA in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire, and over 20 years of accounting experience. She is here to assist Student Life departments with any fiscal and budgetary questions. Please join us in welcoming Vanessa to our team!
