We create opportunities for staff to interact with each other to build connections and support professional development and personal growth. Staff are encouraged to explore various connecting activities including joining our team to help create and launch new initiatives.

Here are some of the activities organized by the Staff Connections Team.

• Annual Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program & Other Service Projects
  • During the holiday season, we help departments "adopt" seniors, small families, or large families through Family Services. Our "adoptees" receive gifts of new or gently used items they have requested.
  • We are also developing volunteer opportunities for Student Affairs members to participate at the San Antonio Food Bank and Haven for Hope.
• Annual Jamboree
  • We celebrate the end of the school year with a fun evening of bowling. Office and/or department teams compete for fun prizes and bragging rights!
• Lunch Time Trivia
  • Lunch Time Trivia is a great way for Student Affairs staff to have fun while informally enjoying lunch and connecting in a stress-free environment.
• Socials & Outings
  • Come join us when we try a new restaurant, enjoy an old favorite, check out First Friday, or attend a sporting event.
