To help keep the Roadrunner community safe and healthy as flu season approaches, UTSA is partnering with H-E-B to provide on-campus vaccination clinics for faculty and staff. The flu vaccine will be available at all vaccination events along with the additional vaccines below for those eligible:

COVID-19 | Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) | Pneumonia | Shingles | RSV

Please bring your medical insurance card, UTSACard and driver’s license or valid photo ID.

  • Thursday, Oct. 3
    • 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
    • H-E-B Student Union, Mesquite Room (HSU 2.01.24)

Employees are encouraged to schedule an appointment using the H-E-B sign-up portal. Scheduling your appointment in advance saves time when you arrive by allowing you to submit necessary documentation prior to your appointment and helps ensure you can get vaccinated during your preferred time slot. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.

Important Reminders

  • Employees are encouraged to schedule their appointment in advance to ensure availability and insurance coverage. Many vaccines are free for individuals covered under most insurance plans accepted by H-E-B, including UT Select BCBS.
  • If the participant does not have insurance or there is a coverage issue identified at the clinic, the provider will accept payment in the form of cash or check only.
  • On-campus vaccine clinics are not open to the general public. Current UTSA faculty and staff are welcome to attend and are encouraged to schedule an appointment.
  • Unable to attend the UTSA Vaccination Clinics? You can find a local retail pharmacy by contacting 1-800-818-0155 or logging into Express Scripts (ESI).
