Wellness Vendor Pop-Up Brings Energy, Resources and Community Spirit

October 21, 2025

People Excellence recently held its first-ever Wellness Vendor Pop-Up. The event was a resounding success, drawing over 300 participants for a day filled with health, resources and forging new connections.

Viewed by many attendees as one of the largest and most engaging university wellness events they’ve taken part in, the event featured more than 40 wellness partners and vendors who showcased a wide range of services and benefits. Those who attended took part in numerous wellness-related activities, including on-site counseling sign-ups, giveaways, demos of products and services, and the company of therapy dogs, which was a highlight of the day for many attendees.

An on-site vaccination clinic, hosted in partnership with H-E-B, served more than 150 individuals who took advantage of the convenient opportunity to catch up on vaccinations. Options available included annual vaccines for the flu and COVID-19 as well as the Tdap vaccine.

Participants shared positive feedback about the Wellness Vendor Pop-Up, noting that they enjoyed learning about the many benefits and resources available to university employees. Others spoke positively about the great experience at the vendor tables and highlighted the therapy dogs and Stretch Zone, which provided help and guidance to improve flexibility and range of motion.

Focusing on the university’s commitment to provide top tier services for its employees, the vendor pop-up event also spotlighted the development of the new Employee Success Center’s physical space, further building awareness of services available on campus.

“Our event attendees genuinely felt valued,” Shelly Crofford, director of the university’s Employee Success Center, shared. “We’re thrilled with the phenomenal turnout and the enthusiasm we all experienced at this event, and we’re already looking forward to bringing it back in 2026.”
