The Staff Development Team is looking for new members for 2014-2015. Joining the Staff Development Team is an excellent way to grow as a student affairs professional and learn more in regards to programming, interdepartmental connections and staff development opportunities.
If you think you would be interested in joining the Staff Development Team, please fill out the New Member Interest form. Please confer with your supervisor about the time commitment it would take to be a contributing member. The deadline to submit this form is June 9, 2014.

Campus Recreation is hosting a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Course from May 26 – June 3.
This 80 hour WFR course is designed to provide you with the tools to make important medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations. The course includes classroom lectures and demonstrations combined with realistic scenarios where mock patients will challenge you to integrate your learning.
Courses are taught by seasoned instructors, with learning taking place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings, regardless of weather conditions. Course fee: $650.

Students and alumni can create a Transcript Account and order their transcripts anytime, anywhere.

The transition of the UTSA campuses to tobacco-free and smoke-free status began June 1, 2013. Through this one-year transition period, smoking and the use of tobacco products will be restricted to designated areas on campus.
UTSA is committed to supporting students and employees who wish to stop using tobacco products. For students, resources are available through Student Health Services. For employees, resources are available through the Employee Assistance Program.
