True Fun

Let’s have FUN! At Campus Recreation we are serious about fun. Use your True Colors spectrum to help guide you toward activities that you will enjoy and get you active.

Blue

Try a yoga class! There is no competition in yoga. It’s all about your personal journey. Participating in a group exercise class provides an opportunity to be among others. Don’t know what you are doing? No problem! There is an instructor leading the class! Feel like a fool? No problem! Other people in the class probably feel the same! Having an instructor that offers guidance and support aligns with Blue strengths.

Gold

Want some structure to your play time? Our Synrgy360 class offers agility drills, circuits and intervals on our customized equipment. Too structured? How about creating a team for Intramural Sports? Creating a practice schedule and having a healthy understanding of the rules of the game align with Gold strengths.

Orange

Drop in, hop on a mountain bike and let’s ride! Throughout the semester Outdoor Pursuits offers a variety of trips. You can take a hike, rock climb, kayak, surf and even snow ski! You never know what the trail, water or rock has in store for you. Hands-on experiences that may change at any moment, but require determination align with Orange strengths.

Green

Wish you could run a 5k? Our 6-week instructional courses offer a progressive approach to developing new skills. This semester we offer instructional courses in 5k, yoga, boot camp, hoola hoop101, and dance fusion. Prefer to have fun alone? Perhaps one of our treadmills equipped with a personal television will suit you. Building competency and having autonomy align with Green strengths.

As a member of Campus Recreation these offering are at your fingertips. Not a member? You can still utilize this information to find your true fun!

Have the best day ever!

Has your color spectrum changed over the years? How?

Describe those changes to your colleagues. Remember True Colors is a tool to understanding others and ourselves. It is a common language because we talk about it and use it to articulate our perspectives to each other. Keep it going.
