Communicate, Collaborate, Connect and Create are the Four C’s that we have all learned and practiced, but it’s easy to feel strong in one but not the others. For me and others that I know, create seems the most difficult. It’s almost as if it has a spotlight on it; shining brightly and reminding me that I don’t usually find myself to be a creative person. When I hear create, I think of art and design. The truth is that creativity is so much more than that.
There is creativity in all of us. Some creativity may be obvious and sometimes is behind the scenes. We all have this ability and need to remain aware of it. There are many things during the day that we create. For example, we can create:
If some of these things sound out-of-reach, simply start with creating a to-do list! It definitely counts as creation.
