It is estimated that nearly 20% of college students meet criteria for substance abuse. To address this challenge, UTSA established the Center for Collegiate Recovery (CCR) to support students who are struggling with alcoholism and other addictions on campus.
We offer a pathway to sobriety and academic achievement for those struggling with addiction as well as provide a “safe space” for those on an active recovery path while they pursue their degrees at UTSA.
Our student organization, Students For Recovery, is hosting the following upcoming sober tailgates — we hope to see you there to support these students in their journey!
For more information about all things CCR, please contact Clayton Sponhaltz, LCDC at 210-458-8317.
UTSA Traditions is an interactive exhibit showcasing our unique traditions that contribute to UTSA’s rich campus culture. Both recent and long-standing traditions will be on display for the public to enjoy. The exhibit is curated by Jana Schwartz. It will run from August 26 through December 12.
The goal of Gallery 23 is to serve a vital role in creating a vibrant campus community by offering cultural enrichment, enhancing diversity on campus and providing an educational opportunity to explore the arts. Gallery 23 also serves as a professional space to showcase artwork by UTSA students, staff, faculty, alumni and local San Antonio artists.
The gallery is open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Fridays. Gallery 23 takes its name from its room number, University Center 1.02.23. For more information, contact Jana Schwartz.
All December 2014 Commencement Ceremonies will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (200 E. Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205)
Please be sure to check out the Commencement website for updates and all information regarding Commencement.
